ACT to change...

We've all seen several people crib, cry and cuss about the state of our potholes, politics and people. Most think nothing can ever change, almost all continue cribbing and some even consider leave the country for better havens.

Since when was complaining and running away a part of the solution?Emotionally, spiritually and business growth wise, India has been and will be unbeatable. However, we do need to make a positive change in the care we have for our surroundings, neighbours and city.

We need each citizen to participate and do whatever they do, better. Each one must reach one and spread the positive revolution. Each one of us must be concerned (and not angry!). We must act (and not preach!). We must be the change (and not just expect the change!). Above all we must care and have an attitude that change is possible.

Each of us must take a pledge to be responsible for one positive change in the environment, workplace, home, society or city, each week, every week. We need to take action and protest against each thing that you find objectionable, corrupt or wrong.

Our action will make us all better!

Dont try to succeed!

Ashok Salian is among the best photographers of India, but more than that, he is a great individual. Why is that? Well, for one, I've never seen anyone laugh like him.

I have always believed that you can understand a person by his/her laughter for it speaks volumes . Ashok's unaffected laugh is strong and resounding; one that reverberates in your heart long after his laughter has stopped. Though his roar is also similar to thunder close at hand, contrarily, the rumble comforts in its positivity and enthusiasm. It shows his childlike, guilelessly, openminded and innocent approach to life.

I tried to be like that. But the more I tried the less I succeeded; the less I tried, the more I succeeded.

I think that is the key to success in life. Each of life's moments is an opportunity to learn, give, enjoy and relish. You dont have to be positive despite the problems that life hands out to you - you should be positive because of life is giving a different, exciting opportunity every time!

This lesson of life come thanks to Guru Ashok Salianji.
